Sex & Relationships

The term sex and relationships education (SRE) is used in this policy rather than sex education. SRE encompasses the emotional, social and physical aspects of growing up, relationships, sex, human sexuality and sexual health.

The Local Authority are due to release a new policy for Sex and Relationships Education in the summer term 2022. This will be reviewed and adopted by the Governing Body in preparation for Curriculum for Wales September 2022.
