MRS J PHILLIPS

My name is Mrs Phillips and I teach Class 1 – Nursery at Aberbargoed Primary School.

My favourite colour is red.

I love to eat pizza! My favorite holiday destination is Italy as I went there on my honeymoon (and ate lots of pizza!!)

I have worked at Aberbargoed Primary School since November 2015, joining an enthusiastic, supportive and developing team of staff, as Reception class teacher, Foundation Phase leader and part of the Senior Management Team.

I love being a teacher as it provides me with endless opportunities to inspire and learn with staff and children, watching our pupils grow in confidence and develop new skills through playful, engaging experiences.

As a mother of a young son myself, I know how daunting it can be to send your little one off to full-time school. Please feel free to chat with me about any concerns you have, no matter how small they might be.
